Hey, thanks for stopping by our Store! You obviously stopped here because you want to buy something - or you may have clicked the link by accident - either way, let me explain some things. The poster prints for sale below all come in 2 formats, A1 and A3. These are printed on a matt finish, 170GSM paper. I still don't really know that that means - but I do know the prints come out looking pretty damn stunning. All of these prints will be, of course, signed by the artist (that's me!) - however if you don't want this, then just say so in the notes section on checkout. Easy as!
This was the second of the two prints made during the live draw at Supanova Brisbane 2010. Thanks to all who came passed and made comments and sat and watched – it’s people like you that keep us all going ^__^ Will have prints of this up at the new online store shortly!
I was pretty chuffed when Falling for Sky (local Brisbane band) asked me to make them a promo poster. The boys were brave enough to let my creative juices flow, letting me come up with a piece that summed up their punk/rock musical style. I used a different colouring style to normal, as you can probably see, opting for textures and several built up layers to achieve the dirty, gritty feel the piece needed.
A good friend once asked me, “What would a cute, baby Cthulhu look like?” I couldn’t get the urge to draw it out of my head and the result quickly became one of my more popular self-promotional pieces. Not as fearsome as it’s H. P. Lovecraft’s legendary creature, this little Baby Cthulhu is now on a range of popular merchandise including t-shirts and button badges.
Another self-promotion piece, inspiration for this picture came to mind while I was taking a nap. Starting off as a doodle, I really loved the composition and felt it would look great as a poster on my wall, so I took the time to finish this one off. Everyone knows that pirates are selfish loot whores, and this little fella is no exception. Touch his loot and he might have something to say about it!
